A devastated woman who returned to the UK from Brazil following her dad's funeral said she doesn't know how she's going to pay £1,750 for her hotel quarantine.
Lizandra Cardoni, 40, and who lost her job during the pandemic, had travelled to the South American country on December 6 after her dad contracted coronavirus.
While he didn't die of Covid, he died earlier this month of complications triggered by the disease. Because her arrival is from a country which is on Britain's red list, Ms Cardoni now has to quarantine for at least 10 days in the Radisson Blu at Heathrow Airport, for which she is likely to have to pay £1,750.
