Woman disgusted to find brown marks on ceiling weren't mould but something else

A woman has been left disgusted after brown marks that kept appearing on her ceiling turned out not to be mould after all the cleaning products she used did not work.

The dark residue that leaves marks on ceilings and walls is often attributed to mould, which is extremely common during the colder months but not in this case.

After taking to an online forum to discuss the problem and then smelling the brown marks on the wall the lady discovered it wasn't mould but mouse urine, reports the Mirror.Taking to Reddit, the anonymous woman showed how two unusual-shaped brown stains had started showing on her apartment's ceiling that didn't feel wet.

She says she had asked her upstairs neighbour if the block's maintenance company had sprayed ceiling paint over the marks before, but they have always returned.She said: "The person above me says her floor isn't wet and she hasn't noticed any water getting in.
