Woman dies in 'tragic accident' after husband ran her over while reversing in church car park
dailyrecord.co.ukA woman has died in a freak accident after her husband accidentally ran her over while reversing his car outside a local church.
The 70-year-old woman had been dropped off at the Castle Hill Baptist Church in Sydney, Australia, where she ran a bible study group at around 9.30am local time on Sunday morning.The victim's husband, also 70, was attempting to manoeuvre out the car park when he hit and killed his beloved parter, the Mirror reports.
The woman was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.Her husband was taken to Westmead Hospital for mandatory testing but he is understood not to have suffered any injuries in the horrific incident, which was witnessed by another member of the congregation,Pastor Ian Deane spoke to reporters about what happened which he described as an "extremely tragic accident".
