Former First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has said the last few days have been "obviously difficult" after the arrest of her husband, the SNP's ex-chief executive.Peter Murrell was arrested in connection with an investigation into the funding and finances of the party on Wednesday, April 5.The 58-year-old was released that night without charge pending further inquiries.Speaking outside her home near Glasgow, today, Sturgeon said in a brief statement that she understands “the scrutiny that comes on me as a public figure”, adding that she intends to “get on with life and my job as you would expect”.
