A woman has died after crashing at an Asda petrol station following a suspected medical episode at the wheel. The incident happened around 10.45am on Wednesday (March 22).
The woman, thought to be in her 70s, crashing at the Asda petrol station on Moston Lane in Harpurhey, north Manchester. Police say it is thought the woman suffered a medical episode while driving the Nissan Micra, before crashing through a small brick wall separating the forecourt from the pavement.
A section of stretch, near the junction with Rochdale Road, was closed for a number of hours while emergency services dealt with the incident.
