A woman tragically died on her 38th birthday alone as she sat in her home watching TV. Zoe Gibbs, a mum-of-two, passed away unexpectedly at her home on March 1 last year.
An inquest held on Tuesday (May 31) concluded that her death occurred as a result of natural causes with no suspicious circumstances.
Zoe, from Grimsby, had been a user of Class A drugs “on and off” over a period of 20 years and suffered from fatty liver disease.
The inquest at Cleethorpes Town Hall heard that she was “significantly overweight” and would eat sugary foods to cope with the comedowns from drugs, which caused a number of health problems.
