A woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a man in Glasgow more than three months ago.Joseph McGready was found seriously injured at a property in Braid Square, near the city centre, in the early hours of September 30 last year.The 30-year-old was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he died just days later on October 2.
A major police probe was launched with officers treating the death as murder following the results of a post mortem.A 27-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman were later arrested in connection with the death.
Police Scotland earlier confirmed that a 31-year-old woman was due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday.Laura McHugh, from Glasgow, made no plea to a single charge of murder.
She made no plea with the case submitted for further examination by prosecutors. She was remanded in custody and is expected to reappear within the next eight days.
