A woman and a teenage girl have been taken to hospital after a car flipped onto its side in Rochdale. The vehicle is believed to have struck a barrier on Manchester Road close to the junction with Roch Valley Way.
It then flipped onto its side, trapping the occupants inside. Emergency services were called to the scene at around 6.15pm on Thursday, April 30.
Firefighters cut the roof of the vehicle to rescue the driver of the car. The woman and the the teenager were then taken to hospital by the North West Ambulance Service.
No further details of their injuries have been released. The is understood to have ploughed into traffic lights and a barrier before overturning on its side.
