A pensioner says she will not be moved after a council stated their intent to knock down her home for access to development land.
Sharon Gregory says she has rejected offers from her local authority to buy the property and will not budge, reports Derbyshire Live.
The 71-year-old, who has lived at the Derbyshire property for 10 years, says Bolsover District Council (BDC) owns a parcel of land at the back of her home that it wants to build houses upon.
However, there is currently only one access point to it off Rood Lane, which BDC has been unable to prove ownership of.The authority made an attempt to buy Rood Lane using a compulsory purchase order (CPO) in 2019.
