Diego Ramos Bechara editor “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place,” the sequel series to the Disney Channel original “Wizards of Waverly Place,” will premiere on the network in October.
Disney Channel will premiere the series’ first two episodes on Oct. 29 at 8:00 p.m. ET. The series’ first eight episodes will then be made available to stream on Disney+ and Disney Channel On Demand the next day.
Following the network premiere, two new episodes — including a Halloween-themed episode — will premiere back-to-back on Oct.
30. Beginning on Nov. 8, episode premieres will move to Fridays at 8:00 p.m. ET, with two weekly episodes. Raven-Symoné (“Raven’s Home”) and Danielle Fishel (“Girl Meets World”) are also set to direct episodes in season one. “‘Wizards Beyond Waverly Place’ follows an adult Justin Russo (David Henrie), who has chosen to lead a normal, mortal life with his family, Giada, Roman and Milo.
