Pupils at a Wishaw primary school are celebrating after achieving a top award from worldwide children’s charity UNICEF.Kids and staff at Calderbridge Primary School in Coltness were exceptionally proud to have achieved its Silver accreditation award for being a UNICEF Rights Respecting school.After UNICEF’s visit to the school in September Calderbridge officially became a “Rights Aware School”.Calderbridge teacher Kayleigh Marshall said: “Our children, staff and community have worked hard to develop a rights ethos within our school and ensure all children feel safe, valued and included.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
