A Wishaw nursery team is celebrating after picking up a string of awards.The Cabbage Patch nursery in Netherton Road bagged three gongs at the Collin Care awards evening.Ashlea Lambert, who won the Nursery Manager of the Year award, was delighted the nursery team were recognised in such a way.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

It has been a really challenging few years due to COVID and all the restrictions so it was one of the first time that all of us have been able to get together. “We are all lucky that we have such a great team here at Cabbage Patch so it’s nice to be recognised in this way.”Other Cabbage Patch award winners on the night were Sophie Gillespie who picked up the Nursery Practitioner of the Year and Frances Baird who received the Recognition of Service award after being part of the nursery for the past 27 years.Ashlea added: “I have worked here for the past 13 years and Frances has been here all of that time.“The award was a surprise on the night so when her name was announced she was very emotional.“If anyone deserved her award it was Frances.
She does a terrific job and everyone loves her.“Sophie has been fantastic for us and we were all delighted for her.”The Collin Care company has nine nurseries across Scotland
