Motherwell and Wishaw MSP Clare Adamson is urging constituents to stay safe ahead of Bonfire Night and to stick to organised public firework displays.Last year, The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) received more than 1000 calls from the public during an eight-hour period.

Firefighters across Scotland dealt with over 370 bonfires and there were eight attacks on crews reported.It is illegal for the general public to use fireworks before 6pm or after 11pm – extended to midnight on November 5.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
