A startled family were woken in the early hours of Sunday morning by the sound of police sirens and then saw a car crash through their garden and into their house.Wendy Armstrong and husband Shane, both 47, heard the sound of wailing police sirens and a vehicle crashing headlong through the brick wall of their garden in Wishaw.The couple ran to the living room window where they saw the car hurtling towards them before coming to a halt just inches from the house in Kirk Road.The shocked family opened their front door to see that a huge police presence, including four cars and a van, had descended on the scene.Wendy told our sister paper the Daily Record: “We were in the house and woke around 4am to the sound of the police cars.“There were
