Talented Wishaw Esports stars of the future can now find a home in one of the town’s oldest youth organisations.Committee members of Wishaw YMCA successfully applied for £50,000 worth of funding to open the town’s first Esports Academy.The funding has allowed the YM’s temporary town centre base to be kitted out with state-of-the-art machines allowing teenagers the opportunity to develop their gaming skills.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
