A wine-fuelled woman grabbed a knife during a heated row with her ex-partner and stabbed him multiple times in his own home.
Eleanor Davies, 34, armed herself after the pair became embroiled in a verbal altercation at his flat in Stockport. She said she was acting in 'self defence' and claimed her ex had been violent towards her before.
The man suffered two 'very serious and significant wounds' after being knifed, Minshull Street Crown Court heard. After spending four months in Styal prison, Davies is due to be released.
