Prince William and Kate Middleton showed their desire to be “very accessible by the public” during their latest royal engagement, a body language expert said.
The Prince and Princess of Wales enjoyed a fun-filled day in Birmingham on Thursday, as they played darts and tried their hands at making Indian street food.
William, 40, and Kate, 41, visited the Midlands city to celebrate its diverse culture and met future leaders in the arts and creative industries.
During the engagement – which saw William answer an unexpected phone call at the Indian restaurant to take an order – the Prince of Wales appeared ‘confident’ while his wife displayed a ‘great sense of humour’ and ‘microexpressions of happiness,’ body language expert Darren Stanton said.
