William and Kate are not taking on any royal engagements this week for one special reason
dailyrecord.co.ukThe Prince and Princess of Wales have made multiple public appearances recently but are reportedly taking a break from their royal duties for this week and possibly the week after.The reason being because their three kids Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are all on their October half-term break from school which calls for some much needed family time together.The royal trio broke up from school on Friday, October 13 and have the next two weeks off from Lambrook School in Berkshire which is close to their home in Windsor.
The co-educational, preparatory school is situated in 52 acres of countryside and offers a range of impressive facilities for its pupils including a nine-hole golf course to the school's own orchard complete with bees, chickens and pigs.
The kids are encouraged to "explore, play, learn and of course, to get muddy" with the school boasting its own woodland too according to Lambrook's website, Hello!
reports.In addition to being focused on academic subjects and language, the variety of extracurricular activities on offer include tap dancing, bagpipe playing and swimming.George, Charlotte and Louis will be spending some quality time with their parents over the next fortnight though with ten-year-old Prince George making a surprise appearance at the Rugby World Cup with his dad Prince William over the weekend.
