The actors playing Prince William and Kate Middleton in the final season of The Crown have been seen sharing a kiss in the rain in St Andrews.
Ed McVey, 22, and newcomer Meg Bellamy, 19, play Wills and Kate in the sixth series of the Netflix historical drama, which will largely focus on the early days of their blossoming romance.
The pair can be seen carrying retro Tesco bags loaded with shopping as they are caught in a downpour, The Mirror reports.No detail has been missed for the scenes, set in the early 2000s when the pair met as they studied at St Andrews University.
The cars parked in the street even feature paper tax discs in their windscreens – something cars haven't had in the UK since 2014.In new set pictures from the upcoming show, William can be seen gazing at Kate – capturing the period in which they met in 2001.
