Will Smith will reportedly address the punch heard across the globe on his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith's show, Red Table Talk On Sunday night's Oscars, Will, who later went on to receive the Best Actor award for his role in the biopic King Richard, punched host Chris Rock after he made a joke about Jada.
Chris made a quip about Jada's shaved hairstyle and, despite initially being seen laughing, Will walked on stage and smacked the comedian around the face before angrily shouting: "Keep my wife's name out your f**king mouth." And after reportedly refusing to talk to reporters at the afterparties, it has now been claimed that the 53 year old will break his silence on the altercation of his wife's hugely popular Facebook show.
According to Radar Online, Will has been bombarded with interviews from the likes of Good Morning America and The Today Show, which he has turned down.The publication reports that he and Jada discussed the matter and agreed to address it on Red Table Talk.The episode will reportedly be taped as early as next week, with the couple deciding the show will be the best platform for him to explain his side of the story.
OK! has contacted a representative for Will for further comment. Meanwhile, Diddy has insisted that Will and Chris hashed it out hours after the incident on Sunday.
