Orville Peck is taking off the mask. Keep reading to find out more… In a profile in the New York Times, Orville explained that he won’t be wearing the mask. “The mask is part of my expression personally as an artist and a very big personal part of me,” he explained. “But I’m here to play this role and to bring respect and integrity and hopefully a good performance to it.

It’s not about me. I’m not trying to make it the Orville Peck show.” Orville trained as an actor at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and appeared on London’s West End.

This will be his Broadway debut, and he’ll appear alongside Eva Noblezada as Sally Bowles. Their limited 16-week engagement at the August Wilson Theatre starts Monday, March 31, through Sunday, July 20.

Adam Lambert and Auli‘i Cravalho will play their final performances on Saturday evening, March 29. There have not been announcements about casting past July 20.
