Bridgerton? It’s the question we’ve all been wondering in the lead-up to the latest drop of the Netflix show. Well, that and: How soon do Penelope () and Colin () hook up?!?The status of Phoebe Dynevor, who plays the eldest Bridgerton sister, has been uncertain ever since her onscreen husband Regé-Jean Page (Simon Basset) declared he wasn’t returning for season 2.
The show went on without him, with throwaway lines that placed him at home rather than dealing with the Ton. (“Just because you didn’t see him doesn’t mean he wasn’t there,” former showrunner Chris Van Dusen .)We caught up with the star just hours after season two of the hit Netflix series was announced.
