Oliver Partington has picked up a pre-season injury during Wigan Warriors' preparations for the new season. The forward has picked up an ankle injury that has put him on the sidelines for a short period of time.
However, head coach Matt Peet insists the injury isn't serious and that it won't impact on his ability to start the Super League season as planned.
Partington is expected to return to training shortly and will get an extensive period of time to get up to speed before the season opener at Hull Kingston Rovers on February 11th.
