Wicked director Jon M. Chu is speaking out about what Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande are like behind-the-scenes, including some really fun and sweet tidbits about their personalities! Cynthia and Ariana portrayed Elphaba and Glinda, the leading roles in the smash-hit movie musical.

They both give stellar performances, and Jon‘s amazing directing is also being praised! Jon was a guest the most recent episode of “The Art of Kindness with Robert Peterpaul” podcast, and we have an exclusive video clip from his episode. Jon shared, “Cynthia, she was like, ‘Jon, you need to wear moisturizer,’ and I’ve been told that my whole life, but I don’t like stuff on my skin.

And she kept giving me moisturizer. So now I moisturize my skin, and it feels great, and I love it. So she’s a caretaker. I mean, Cynthia will send me flowers at home for no reason.
