He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

A royal expert has opened up recently about the couple’s fears over perhaps encountering the Firm as they spend time in London commemorating the special event.

Harry launched the Invictus Games in 2014 as a multi-sport Paralympic-styled games for wounded or injured servicemen and veterans.The anniversary will be celebrated with a church service at the fabled St Paul’s Cathedral.“Harry and Meghan are having sleepless nights about what they should do when Harry visits the UK later this year.” author Tom Quinn told the Mirror recently.“He will have to do something to acknowledge the huge difficulties his family is going through, but he won’t want to do or say anything that seems to imply anything less than wholehearted support for his permanently aggrieved wife,” the insider said.

The Windsor clan has been going through a great deal in recent months, as both King Charles and Kate Middleton are suffering from a form of cancer.
