One major change in the live-action remake of Snow White is the removal of the Prince Charming character and the introduction of Jonathan, played by Tony Award winner Andrew Burnap.

In the original 1937 animated movie, Prince Charming falls in love with Snow White after hearing her sing and then saves her with a true love’s kiss at the end of the movie. Rachel Zegler revealed years ago that Snow White was “not going to be saved by the prince” in the remake, noting that there would be “modern” changes to the story.
