Meghan Markle has flown back to California four days before Prince Harry is due to return from the Netherlands. Meghan, 40, and Prince Harry, 37, headed to The Hague last week to attend the Invictus Games, and they also stopped off in the UK to see the Queen just days before.
While Prince Harry is staying in the Netherlands for the duration of the games, Meghan has opted to fly back to their home in LA in order to be reunited with their two children, Archie, two, and 10 month old Lilibet.
The Invictus Games began on Saturday 16 April and will end on Friday 22 April. She attended a private event held in the Zuiderpark, where 12 children were participating in a group reading. Meghan was keen to sit in on the reading, as she told British army veteran James Stride that the children reminded her of her two little ones.
