James Corden has announced that he will be leaving his CBS late-night series, The Late Late Show. Corden, 43, was known for his comedic role in British TV show Gavin & Stacey, of which he was also the co-creator.
After getting his break in the United States, Corden has gone on to star in films including the musical Cats, Peter Rabbit, The Prom, hosting Friends: The Reunion and receiving a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor.
He took over hosting duties for The Late Late Show from Craig Ferguson, who had hosted the programme for nine years. After signing onto the contract in 2014, Corden made his premiere as host on March 23, 2015. Corden signed on to do one more year of the show to see if there is one more adventure left in the series.
