Pep Guardiola says Bernardo Silva was injured as he was substituted in the first half of Manchester City's Champions League win over Crvena Zvezda on Tuesday.
City dominated the first half against their Serbian opponents but didn't get a goal to show for it. And shortly before Red Star's opener on the stroke of half-time, Guardiola introduced Jeremy Doku for Bernardo on the right.
There had been no indication of a knock to the Portuguese, and he took a seat on the bench rather than heading down the tunnel for treatment.
Guardiola had shouted at the latest member of his captaincy group shortly before, and did not look at Bernardo as he walked off.
