Thousands of music fans will be heading to Reading and Leeds Festival as it returns this year with a stacked lineup of bands taking to the stage over three days.

Headliners Billie Eilish, Sam Fender, The Killers and The 1975 will join the hundreds of acts on the bill. The festival takes place on the bank holiday weekend - August 25 to 27 - at Little John's Farm in Reading and Bramham Park in Leeds.

The sister festivals share a line up, with Friday's acts at Reading performing on Saturday at Leeds, Saturday's acts at Reading heading north for the Sunday, and the Sunday line up for Reading taking to the stage for the opening night of Leeds Festival.

Since 2021, the festival has featured two main stages instead of one - with six headliners put on across the weekend. Before that, the festivals had just one main stage and a second stage called the Radio 1/NME stage that featured less well-known acts, many of which went on to be festival headliners.
