The 64-year-old host wants to make sure if’s safe for her to return to the show amid the coronavirus pandemic. “To be extra careful about her health, Whoopi is consulting with her doctor today,” co-host Sunny Hostin explained on Tuesday (March 17). “She wants everyone to know she feels fine and plans on being back here tomorrow.” “We know that Whoopi had pneumonia, and was not in a good place,” Sunny added. “So, she just wants to get checked out and make sure that it’s smart for her to be here every day.” Last week, host Joy Behar announced that she is taking time off as well.
