Whoopi Goldberg is taking a hiatus from The View as she works on a new show called Anansi Boys, her co-host Joy Behar announced on Monday.Behar, 79, said, 'If you're wondering where Whoopi is, the girl's got a movie she's making and she will be back when she finishes whatever she's doing - so she's gone for a while.'Goldberg, 66, will be filming the series - an adaptation of the 2005 novel by author Neil Gaiman - in Scotland, Variety reported Monday.

He continued: 'I wasn’t able to meet her until 2018, when she interviewed me with some of the Good Omens team at New York Comic Con.
