variety.comZack Sharf Digital News Director Whoopi Goldberg fired back at Donald Trump after he told supporters at a recent rally that he would “never hire” Goldberg because her comedy act is “filthy dirty” and “disgusting” (via Entertainment Weekly).
Goldberg and her co-hosts on “The View” trolled Trump by walking out during the Oct. 10 episode of their daytime talk show to Christina Aguilera’s hit song “Dirrty.” “So, we walked out to ‘Dirrty’ by Christina Aguilera, because it’s one of the words that You-Know-Who used when he was talking about me, in particular, but he was talking about us at his rallies,” Goldberg said.
Trump was at a campaign event in Reading, Pennsylvania when he called “The View” hosts “really dumb people.” The show recently welcomed Kamala Harris as an interview guest.
Trump then remembered hiring Goldberg once for a comedy event at one of his casinos, but he criticized her act for being “filthy dirty” and “disgusting.” “I was filthy, and stand on that fact.
