The season finale of Survivor aired last night and we’re breaking down exactly what happened in the finale.

The episode began with five players still left in the game: Carolyn, Yam Yam, Carson, Lauren and Heidi.

Eventually, Lauren was voted out during a normal tribal council vote – the last tribal council of the season. When it went down to the final four, the season’s last immunity challenge was played.

Heidi won, and had to decide who was coming with her to the finale, and who would have to make fire to compete for a spot in the final three. Heidi chose Carolyn to go to the final three, Carson to participate in the fire making competition, and in a huge surprise, she chose herself to do the fire making competition.
