The BBC One show will reclaim its prime-time Saturday night slot for its twentieth series. But this year, its launch show will air on Friday September 23, followed by its first live show on Saturday September 24.
Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will be back to keep the Strictly ship running as smoothly as possible. Meanwhile, head judge Shirley Ballas will return to the panel, alongside judges Anton Du Beke, Motsi Mabuse and Craig Revel Horwood.
Soap actors, an 80s music legend and a former Britain's Got Talent child star are among the contestants preparing to put on their dancing shoes.
