He's the man who conducts the incredible soundtracks to Strictly Come Dancing every week. Dave Arch is the BBC show's longstanding Musical Director, and some fans may want to know more behind the music mastermind.
With the show's 20th series underway, many will be enjoying the soundtracks which Dave puts together each week. The 59-year-old has been a part of the show since 2006 and is in charge of Strictly's in-house orchestra, which learns up to 14 pieces of music for each episode.
Dave is a musician, composer and conductor and was previously a member of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra before landing the Strictly role.
As reported by the Mirror, he studied at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama before beginning his career. He has kept his private life out of the public eye during his tenure on one of the BBC's flagship shows but we do know that he is married and has two sons and one daughter with his wife.
