Gemma Owen, the daughter of ex-England footballer Michael Owen, has attracted plenty of attention since entering the Love Island villa.

But rather than her famous dad, it has been suggested that it could be her mum who takes part in the “Meet the Parents” episode, which fans are expecting to take place next week.Louise Bonsall is known to share a very close bond with her 19-year-old daughter, with the pair sharing a love of horses.In fact, her eldest child’s popularity on the hit ITV dating show has sparked rumours that TV producers are looking to woo Louise into making her reality television debut.ITV bosses are reportedly "desperate" for Gemma's mum to join the cast of The Real Housewives of Cheshire on the back of her daughter's new-found fame.Louise is the wife and childhood sweetheart of former Liverpool star Michael Owen and mother to Love Island star Gemma, son James, 16, and daughters Emily, 14, and Jessica, 12.Michael's better half is a keen equestrian and has rescued many retired racehorses over the years and even founded her Cheshire Manor House Stables in 2007.The decision to set-up the stable came after a horrific horse-riding related incident which caused Louise to keep away from the saddle for good.In 2004, Louise was involved in a horse riding accident that saw her break her back in two places and her hip and pelvis in five places.Luckily, Louise recovered from the accident and began instead to focus on rehabilitating horses.Louise and Michael met when they were just children, first meeting each in 1984 at primary school during their time spent at Hawarden High School in Flintshire, Wales.In 2003 they welcomed their first daughter, Gemma, and a year later Michael proposed on Valentine's Day.Twenty years.
