Manchester United reportedly want to sign Ajax striker Brian Brobbey this month. According to Florian Plettenberg from Sky Sports Germany, Erik ten Hag is eyeing a move for the 21-year-old who has netted 13 goals in 25 matches so far this season.
Brobbey has previously been a reported target for the club after United tried to hijack his return to Amsterdam following a disappointing stint in the Bundesliga with RB Leipzig.
Sky Germany have claimed that contact between the Dutchman and Man United never broke off following those discussions in 2022, with reports of talks continuing through to last summer.
Ajax are said to be reluctant to let him leave in January but a summer move for him or Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee could be an option, the report adds.
