Soap lovers, get ready! The much-anticipated 40th anniversary week of EastEnders is upon us. BBC viewers are in for a treat with the usual Albert Square shenanigans, plus an extra hour-long episode and a special live broadcast.

But that's not all - the four-decade celebration also features a 45-minute interview special hosted by Joe Swash, and a unique documentary, EastEnders: 40 Years On The Square, presented by Ross Kemp.To mark this momentous occasion, Ross has returned to his role as Grant Mitchell on EastEnders after nearly ten years, alongside several other iconic characters.

In addition to these thrilling events, current and former cast members have appeared in special editions of BBC shows Celebrity Bridge Of Lies (February 15) and Celebrity Antiques Road Trip (February 14).
