Following the airing of Big Brother’s Best Ever Series programme, Davina tweeted to say that Brian was asked to be a part of the special writing: "He was ultimate housemate!!!!
That was a no brainer." The seemingly well-intentioned tweet launched a very public disagreement after Brian replied that it 'wasn't Davina's place to comment' on why he didn't feature in the show.
Brian explained that after being offered a short space on the show he turned it down in light of his dismissal as presenter of the show in 2013.
