The fictional paradise of Saint Marie looks like the perfect place to relax and enjoy yourself, but the island has become one of the deadliest places in the world.
During 10 seasons there have been more than 70 killings, including one of the lead characters, which have kept the 8 million regular viewers on the edge of their seats.
Four different actors have played the role of the leading detective - Ben Miller, Kris Marshall, Ardal O’Hanlon and Ralf Little - and all had varying reasons for leaving.
