After the highs of recent years, it's been a coefficient campaign to forget for Scottish clubs. A steady climb up the UEFA rankings earned SPFL clubs the chance at two places in this season's Champions League and a few cracks at the Europa League and Europa Conference League.

When all was said and done in the ever-treacherous summer qualifiers, Rangers had joined Celtic - whose title win took them straight into the group stage - at UEFA's top table while Hearts' Europa League disappointment against Zurich was soothed by a soft landing into the Conference League.

But from there on out it's being tough going for the Premiership trio. Rangers have lost all six of their matches and finished the campaign as statistically the Champions League's worst ever team, while Celtic mustered two points - an all-time club worst in the competition.

Hearts have picked up two wins against RFS but found the likes of Fiorentina and Istanbul Basaksehir too hot to handle, although they can still end their campaign by upsetting the Turkish side on Thursday night.
