Manchester United fans will be keeping an eye on the MLS All-Stars clash with Arsenal this pre-season given former United man Wayne Rooney will be leading the American side.
The United legend is in charge of the All-Stars and will be looking to get one over on Arsenal when the two teams meet in Washington DC.
Rooney is the current manager of DC United, where he also played between 2018-19 Fans were wondering whether new MLS recruit Lionel Messi would make the All-Star squad, however the new Inter Miami man is not available but the likes of former Manchester United target Djorde Petrovic and former Premier League striker Christian Benteke are among the squad.
MLS All-Star teams have met various Premier League sides who are on tour in the USA over the years. ALSO READ: Mikel Arteta opens up on facing Wayne Rooney’s MLS All-Stars United previously met the All Stars in 2010 and 2011, where United won 5-2 and 4-0 respectively.
