Manchester United staff are feeling positive about Tyrell Malacia's recent progress in his comeback from injury and there's hope he could return to the matchday squad in the coming months.
Malacia last played a competitive fixture for the Netherlands in the UEFA Nations League in June last year but he had an operation just a month later on a knee injury.
That surgery did not go as planned and Malacia eventually underwent another operation on the issue, which meant he didn't make an appearance for United in the 2023/24 season.
Malacia has been on a long road to recovery, but it's understood he is now closer to a return to action than ever before and club staff are feeling positive about his recent progress.
