Greater Manchester could see its first snow of autumn in the 'second half' of next week, according to the Met Office. Temperatures are set to plummet as we go into the start of next week - with it getting cold enough that we could see some wintery showers.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "We expect, from the middle part of next week, for colder air to reach the UK from the north and throughout the week. "So with that, we will see rain showers likely in northern parts of the UK. “So around Manchester we’re likely to see some showers at times, feeling rather cold with overnight frost likely and showers of rain quite likely.
