The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is gearing up to issue its next Cost of Living payment to eligible people across the country.
Eligible benefit claimants will receive a one-off payment of £300 during the autumn period. So far, as part of the £900 cost of living payment, £301 has been paid out to DWP benefit and HMRC tax credits claimants.
It will be a welcome payout for Brits continuing to face pressure from the worsening cost of living crisis, which has recently been exacerbated by the Bank of England's base rate review which saw interest rates rise to 5.25 per cent - the highest it's been in over a decade.
