Millions of Brits will soon be heading to the polling stations to have their say on who will run the country. However, or those unable to make it to a polling station, postal voting serves as a viable alternative.
Voters will select the candidate they believe will best represent their views in Parliament within their constituency. The candidate who garners the most votes will be elected as an MP and will take their seat in the House of Commons.

The cut-off to be included on the electoral register is Tuesday, June 19, at 11.59pm Similarly, the deadline to apply for a postal vote is Wednesday, June 19, at 5pm.
