When the venues for Oasis' much-anticipated comeback shows were announced, it was no surprise to see Wembley Stadium on the list.
It may not have the resonance of Knebworth or Maine Road, but Liam and Noel have played at the national stadium numerous times over the years.
The last being in 2009. And they will grace its stage seven more times between July and September next year. The band initially announced five nights at the England football team's home in north London on July 25, 26, 30, and August 2 and 3 as part of their 17 date Oasis Live 25 tour of the UK and Ireland. However, two more Wembley dates have now been added, on September 27 and 28. This follows outrage of the hours-long queues and "dynamic pricing" used in the original sale.
