'When Calls The Heart' Alum Eva Bourne Opens Up About Returning To Hallmark Channel For 'Make Me A Match'

Eva Bourne isn’t a stranger to Hallmark Channel fans at all. The actress is best known for playing Clara Flynn on When Calls The Heart, and has also appeared in Garage Sale Mysteries, too.

Now, after a short hiatus with the network, Eva is back and returning for her first leading role in Make Me A Match, which debuts this coming weekend. Just Jared spoke to Eva about returning to the network, where she told us how special it was to her. Keep reading to find out more… In the new movie, Eva plays Vivi, and it marks her return to the network after a few years. “I was super grateful for the opportunity, and I was excited that this was the script that I got to have the first leading role with,” she told Just Jared. “I had a lot of ideas swirling around in my head about all the things that would come with a lead, but to be honest, all of my worries, were completely gone once the second day came. ” Eva went on, saying that after meeting with the director about the movie, and her co-star, Rushi Kota, she had “better understanding of the team that was gonna be behind it and everything, and thought ‘This is exactly the film that I would want my first lead to be.’” “I think as a lead there is a responsibility of setting the tone and making sure that people are taken care of and that they’re happy and that they’re enjoying the time, because there’s so many things that come into play that are out of your control,” she explained. “It could’ve been rushed, and everyone’s just trying to get the day done as well as have fun.

I had a lot of concerns at the beginning just about myself.” However, Eva says that once she was in a process on the set, everything sorted out and she was “so happy.
