A new weather map has shown exactly when and where it could snow in the UK this week with temperatures plummeting as we head into March.
The mercury will drop to -3C in Scotland this weekend, while England and Wales will struggle to stay two or three degrees above freezing, according to WX Charts.
It comes as the white stuff is forecast to fall in one part of Greater Manchester on Tuesday morning. According to WX Charts, the first signs of snow will push through to west Scotland from the Atlantic in the small hours of Tuesday morning.
Up to 2cm of snow an hour could fall, with lighter patches forecast across the North Pennines and Yorkshire Dales. These will be short-lived, with a larger band of snow making its way east on Thursday lunchtime.
